About the role
The Resident Physician will join a multidisciplinary team within the NUHS network, providing comprehensive primary care to an ageing population. This role combines patient management, education, research and audit activities to improve health outcomes across the clinic.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality patient management and diagnostic assessments.
- Participate in team‑based care, collaborating with nurses, allied health professionals and senior clinicians.
- Contribute to education, research projects and clinical audits.
- Support the development of end‑to‑end strategies addressing rising demand for medical services.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Head of Polyclinic and NUP.
Required profile
- Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Minimum three years of experience as a Medical Officer or equivalent.
- Experience in a primary‑care setting is advantageous.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient‑centred decision‑making.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, caregivers and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Willingness to pursue a Graduate Diploma and Master of Medicine in Family Medicine.
