Senior Engineer – Data Center Operations

About the role

The Senior Engineer will lead day‑to‑day operations of a data centre, supervising a team of engineers and providing 24/7 on‑call emergency response. This role ensures the reliability of critical MEP infrastructure and coordinates closely with vendors and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage a team of engineers.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call emergency response and availability.
• Maintain MEP infrastructure and coordinate with external vendors.
• Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Organise annual shutdowns and prepare monthly energy and asset reports.
• Manage contractors, projects, and client enquiries.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of data‑center facilities experience.
• Hands‑on experience with critical equipment such as transformers, generators, DRUPS, UPS, PDU, chiller systems, CRAH, and fire systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and strong organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
