Site Supervisor (Construction)

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead on‑site construction activities, ensuring that all work is performed safely, complies with legal and regulatory requirements, and meets quality standards. This role requires close coordination with subcontractors, safety officers, and the project team to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with legal requirements, Workplace Safety & Health Act, LTA, SCDF regulations, and project‑specific safety plans.
• Conduct daily EHS precaution checks and attend safety committee and toolbox meetings.
• Investigate accidents and dangerous occurrences, report findings, and implement remedial actions.
• Ensure all workers receive proper safety induction, working‑at‑height training, and have appropriate PPE.
• Verify that machinery, tools, and equipment are safe to use before work commences.
• Provide safety oversight for all subcontractors and halt any unsafe acts or conditions.
• Maintain clear communication of hazards and safety procedures to all personnel on site.
• Wear distinctive white helmet for easy identification and serve as a safety role model.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Certificate in Pavement Construction and Maintenance (CPCM).
• Certified Pavement Supervisor.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Safety and health training with a BCSS or CSCPM certificate.
