3D Character Art Manager – Skins (League of Legends)

About the role

The Manager, 3D Character Art, Skins will lead the Singapore Studio’s team creating League of Legends cosmetic skins. You will mentor artists, uphold visual quality, and collaborate with Riot LA to deliver world‑class, player‑focused assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3D artists, providing clear feedback and career guidance.
• Uphold the quality bar for League of Legends cosmetic skins, ensuring consistency, readability and alignment with the visual style.
• Provide actionable feedback to Singapore and partner studios, guaranteeing assets meet Riot’s standards for craftsmanship, performance and integration.
• Collaborate with the Associate Art Director and Riot LA leadership to interpret and execute the creative vision for skins.
• Coordinate with Concept, Technical Art, Rigging, Animation and VFX teams to ensure smooth pipeline integration.
• Review work from partner studios and internal artists, identifying opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements.
• Partner with production to plan schedules, manage risks and ensure sustainable high‑quality delivery.
• Contribute to documentation, style guides and visual benchmarks for internal and partner teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional 3D art experience in games, with a focus on stylized character or cosmetic work.
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role providing mentorship and feedback.
• Deep understanding of modeling, sculpting and texturing fundamentals, including stylized hand‑painted techniques and PBR workflows.
• Experience managing outsourced 3D art production and delivering clear, actionable feedback.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
