Application Support Engineer - Murex & GFM Applications

About the role

DBS is hiring an Application Support Engineer within its Group Technology team, which manages the majority of the bank's operational processes across its banking delivery channels. The role provides functional and technical support for Murex and GFM applications, keeping day-to-day operations stable and issues resolved quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for Murex and GFM applications, ensuring stable operations and timely issue resolution.
• Monitor system performance and health, analyse logs and proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Partner with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks, optimise configurations and implement system enhancements.
• Drive automation initiatives using scripting and modern tools to reduce manual operational tasks.
• Take part in duty support rotations, including on-call support and weekend implementations for new product features when required.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with Murex, including modules such as e-Tradepad, Simulation, Limits, Livebook, MXML, Datamart and related components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, able to resolve complex production issues efficiently.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and support on-call rotations.
