Assistant HR Manager – Learning & Development

About the role

The Assistant Human Resources Manager will support the Learning & Development function at The Singapore EDITION, ensuring training programs align with business goals. This role focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating training that enhances product knowledge, service excellence, and leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and communicate all training programs to staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Assist in administering employee training, tracking enrollment, attendance, and progress.
• Conduct needs assessments, design curriculum, and facilitate both custom and corporate training sessions.
• Measure training effectiveness through attendance data, participant feedback, and performance metrics.
• Partner with operational leaders to evaluate skill transfer and impact on guest satisfaction.
• Identify performance gaps and help develop training plans and budgets to address them.
• Incorporate adult‑learning principles into program design and adjust methodologies as needed.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field, plus 1 year relevant experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with no experience required.
• Certified trainer qualification.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a hospitality environment.
