Assistant Manager – Experience & Service Design

About the role

The Singapore Global Network (SGN) seeks an Assistant Manager to lead experience and service design initiatives. Reporting to the Design, Capacity and Culture (DCC) team, you will shape journeys for external members, partners and internal officers, ensuring SGN delivers impactful, people‑centred services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct design research, interviews, surveys and feedback mechanisms to gather deep customer insights.
• Synthesize motivations and behaviours into actionable recommendations for products, programmes and processes.
• Define research scope, manage service‑design workstreams and develop archetype‑led customer journeys.
• Facilitate design sprints and workshops with stakeholders to co‑create new services or improve existing ones.
• Establish success metrics and measure outcomes in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design and execute testing plans for service or product validation, using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Support internal officer experience through regular reviews and feedback sessions.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in User Experience, Industrial Design, Psychology, Communications, Research, Architecture or related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in Customer Experience or User Experience roles, with a focus on Service Design and/or Design Research.
• Systems thinker with strong analytical abilities.
