Assistant Manager / Manager, Jurong Island Operations and Pass Management

About the role

This role manages and reviews operational processes at the Jurong Island Checkpoint and Pass Office, working with the Jurong Island Operations Centre team on security operations. It also acts as the point of contact for tenant companies on Jurong Island and handles pass-related requests.

Key responsibilities

• Review operational processes at the Jurong Island Checkpoint and Pass Office, and review security operations with the Operations Centre team.
• Manage and review operating systems such as the Biometric Access Control System (BACS) and the Reversible Flow System.
• Liaise with tenant companies through platforms such as Round Table Discussions and the Safety and Security Watch Group.
• Process expedited clearance requests for VIP events and appeals for Jurong Island passes.
• Assess security vendors' KPI scorecards to support monthly service payments.
• Collate daily operational statistics (incident reports, entry data, U-turn loads, road accidents) and report service complaints and feedback.
• Plan and facilitate visits to the Operations Centre, and perform shift work covering Duty Commander duties when required.
• Take on project management and implementation work in JICP with SPD when directed by JISOD.

Required profile

• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in security planning and operations.
• Experience in service recovery to manage service feedback.
• Ability to work as a Duty Commander on shifts when required.

Required skills

• Good managerial ability, including analysis and report writing.
• Effective communication and teamwork with security vendors, government agencies, JTC departments and tenant companies.
