Associate, Business Analyst - Institutional Banking Group Technology

About the role

DBS is hiring an Associate Business Analyst within its Institutional Banking Group Technology team, based at the DBS Asia Hub. The role acts as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business needs into functional specifications and supporting Agile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements through stakeholder discussions on business processes and pain points
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories and process flows
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRS, user stories with acceptance criteria and As-Is/To-Be process maps
• Work with architects, developers and QA teams on solution design and support Agile ceremonies
• Assist in UAT planning, execution and defect tracking, and support change management and releases
• Identify opportunities for process improvement

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, engineering or a related field
• Agile/Scrum exposure; banking or finance domain knowledge is a plus
• Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills, and ability to write clear user stories
