AVP, Regional Avaloq Specialist / Business Lead - Consumer Banking

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group is looking for an AVP, Regional Avaloq Specialist / Business Lead to define, prioritise and champion the development roadmap for functionalities within the Avaloq banking system. The role acts as the main link between business stakeholders, development teams and external vendors so that product enhancements meet strategic objectives, regulatory and market demands. It covers change management of the wealth platform, with responsibilities as business lead, business analyst, business process engineer and project manager, and focuses on the new Avaloq Taiwan booking centre implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan, prioritise and execute change initiatives for the Avaloq wealth platform, covering end-to-end processes
• Facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders and manage the product backlog to drive continuous improvement
• Act as a change agent, set up rollout processes for new features and address production functional queries while training users
• Define and prioritise features, user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with agile teams on sprint goals
• Hold regular stakeholder reviews, propose added-value solutions and act as a subject matter expert on wealth business
• Run change management plans, including training, user guides and workflow documentation, and improve standard operating procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5-10 years of experience as a change manager, product owner or business analyst
• Minimum 2 years of experience in private banking
• Good communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Good problem-solving, planning and organisational skills

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of the Avaloq banking system (mandatory)
