About the role

The Buyer will manage product ranging for both stores and online platforms, ensuring sales and profit targets are met. This role involves forecasting demand, ordering, and allocating inventory while minimizing excess stock and supply‑chain disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer product ranges across physical stores and e‑commerce sites.
• Prepare sales forecasts, manage product ordering and allocation.
• Analyze daily, weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports.
• Use consumer trends, historical sales data and seasonality to minimise excess inventory.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop layout guidelines and ensure optimal product presentation.
• Support new business initiatives and ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Tertiary education (or higher) with at least 2 years of merchandising experience in the food‑retail industry.
• Experience in catalogue management or demand planning.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid numerical skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Customer‑oriented, team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
