Compliance Business Control Analyst

About the role

Citi is hiring a Compliance Business Control Analyst in Singapore, an intermediate-level position within the KYC Operations team. The role covers Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting in coordination with the Compliance and Control team, with the aim of developing and managing a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program.

Key responsibilities

• Handle aspects of risk and control such as information security, continuation of business and records management
• Analyse risks and associated controls to find root causes and report findings with mitigation solutions
• Support business managers and product staff
• Help develop and execute business plans, compliance guidelines and periodic risk and control reports
• Advise internal and external teams and work with Internal and external audit on risk and legal liability issues
• Act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and work with limited direct supervision
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold the firm's reputation and escalate control issues transparently

Required profile

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience
• Ability to make effective, timely decisions and to anticipate customer and business needs
• Ability to build partnerships across business regions
