Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Certis is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design, implementation and operation of security controls across cloud and on‑premise environments. You will act as the subject‑matter expert, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to protect applications, servers, networks and data.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the domain expert on cybersecurity matters for both cloud and on‑premise infrastructures.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams in implementing security controls for micro‑services, containers, operating systems, databases and networks.
• Support maintenance teams on complex issues, drive root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Assist presales with infrastructure and application security solutioning for bids.
• Design system architecture and plan new IT infrastructure deployments in hosted and cloud environments.
• Perform installation, configuration and security design reviews for new deployments.
• Lead security testing, vulnerability assessments and remediation for applications, servers and networks.
• Conduct application security assessments using SAST, DAST and penetration testing techniques.
• Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate risks to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in cybersecurity across cloud and on‑premise platforms.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating with project managers and developers.
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
