DevSecOps Engineer – Cloud Automation & Security

About the role

The DevSecOps Engineer will design, automate, secure, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and ensure highly available, reliable platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, automate, and maintain infrastructure and deployment processes for data‑center and cloud environments.
• Create and manage secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security controls.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to support build, integration, testing, and deployment across all environments.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Provision and manage VMs, databases, containers, and other resources.
• Deploy and maintain containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and security issues and participate in on‑call support.
• Design high‑availability, resilient, and scalable infrastructure across hybrid cloud and multi‑data‑center setups.
• Apply security controls, perform vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and risk assessments.
• Manage secrets and access controls using appropriate security technologies.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes.
