Director of Marketing – Hospitality

About the role

Avani Singapore is seeking an experienced and creative Director of Marketing to lead all marketing, communications, digital, and brand initiatives from pre‑opening through launch and beyond. As a key member of the opening leadership team, you will shape the hotel’s market presence and drive demand for this new lifestyle destination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑opening marketing activities, including brand positioning, launch campaigns, communications planning, content creation, and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, social media, PR, partnerships, events, and advertising channels.
• Build awareness, generate demand, and strengthen market presence among target audiences.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Management, F&B, and Operations to support commercial objectives and revenue growth.
• Manage media relations, influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and publicity initiatives.
• Oversee marketing budgets, agency relationships, and campaign performance to maximise ROI.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategy.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high‑performing marketing team.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior marketing role within hospitality.
• Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing and brand campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, PR, content, and demand generation.
• Pre‑opening hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the Singapore hospitality market, consumer trends, and demand drivers.
• Experience launching brands, hotels, or lifestyle concepts in Singapore is advantageous.
• Commercial acumen, creativity, and analytical skills.
