Director of Marketing

About the role

Avani Singapore is assembling its opening leadership team and seeks an experienced Director of Marketing to shape the brand’s market presence from day one. You will own all pre‑opening and ongoing marketing, communications, digital, and brand initiatives, driving awareness, demand and guest engagement for this new lifestyle hospitality destination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑opening marketing activities, including brand positioning, launch campaigns, communications planning and content creation.
• Design and execute integrated strategies across digital, social media, public relations, partnerships, events and advertising.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Management, F&B and Operations to support commercial objectives and revenue growth.
• Manage media relations, influencer partnerships, brand collaborations and publicity initiatives.
• Oversee marketing budgets, agency relationships and campaign performance to maximise ROI.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer insights to inform strategy.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high‑performing marketing team.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior marketing role within hospitality.
• Proven experience creating and executing integrated brand campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, PR and demand‑generation tactics.
• Pre‑opening hotel experience is strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of the Singapore hospitality market, consumer trends and demand drivers.
