About the role

The Doorman/Porter joins the Guest Experience team at The St. Regis Singapore, a luxury hotel renowned for its bespoke service. In this front‑of‑house position you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth, safe and memorable arrival and departure experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, assisting with luggage and transportation as needed.
• Maintain a safe and secure entrance area, following all hotel safety policies.
• Process operational tasks, respond to guest requests, and complete daily reports.
• Provide local area information and promote hotel amenities.
• Stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods while moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Uphold professional uniform standards, personal appearance, and courteous communication.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work on your feet and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional demeanor, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses required.
