F&B Shift Leader – In‑Room Dining

About the role

The F&B Shift Leader for In‑Room Dining at Marriott International ensures that every guest experience is memorable, from the moment a meal is ordered to the final bill. As a Guest Service Expert, you will lead a team on the floor, maintain high service standards, and support smooth operations throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange dining areas, ensuring tables are ready for service.
• Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and coordinate timely delivery.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve meals, and address any service requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Manage menu information, verify items, and handle guest transactions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).
• Uphold safety standards, company policies, and professional appearance at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move on varied surfaces for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, push, pull, and place objects as described.
