About the role
The F&B Shift Leader will help create memorable dining experiences for guests at Marriott’s 30 Beach Road location. You will lead front‑of‑house activities, ensure service standards are met, and support a safe, efficient work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and arrange tables, manage dining room flow, and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Communicate orders and special requests between guests and the kitchen.
- Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and address any service issues promptly.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and health‑safety procedures.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unaided, 50 lb with assistance, and moving around the dining area on varied surfaces.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical duties as described.
