Guest Services Expert – Service Express

About the role

We are looking for a Guest Services Expert to join our Service Express team at Marriott’s 12 Marina View property in Singapore. In this full‑time, front‑line position you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling inquiries and requests across phone, email, chat and mobile channels.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, record and process guest requests, questions and concerns via telephone, email, chat and mobile devices.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake‑up call requests and route calls to the appropriate departments.
• Log all guest interactions in the system and coordinate with Bellperson, Housekeeping and other teams to resolve issues.
• Provide information on room features, hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Process room‑service orders, advise on menu selections and record transactions using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Assist guests with internet access and in‑room entertainment.
• Maintain professional appearance, adhere to company policies and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, service‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Telephone switchboard operation.
• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system usage.
• Basic computer and internet navigation.
