Head of Product - Fintech / Crypto

About the role

Coins is the most established crypto brand in the Philippines, serving more than 18 million users through its mobile app for buying and selling cryptocurrencies and accessing financial services. It is fully regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and holds both Virtual Currency and Electronic Money Issuer licenses. Coins.ph is looking for a Product Lead with a strong fintech, e-wallet or payments background to drive the product's user experience based on data and industry practice.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Engineering and Design to ideate, build and optimise the web and mobile app user journey, from onboarding to payments and trading
• Own operational metrics such as KYC pass rates and payment success rates
• Lead the development of new products (margins, futures and others) globally with the CEO
• Own the global product roadmap across countries, following local regulations
• Manage the global product, design and product operations team
• Drive decisions through quantitative results, testing, qualitative research and customer insights
• Partner with Marketing, Design, Operations, Compliance and Legal to scale the platform while managing operational efficiency

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience building and managing crypto, e-wallet or other fintech products in SE Asia and/or Greater China
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science) or a design-related field (e.g. Design, HCI)
• Experience managing a team of PMs, engineers or product feature teams
• Experience with spot trading, margin and futures products
• Fluent in both English and Chinese
