Host/Hostess – Luxury Hotel Front‑of‑House

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Host or Hostess to join the front‑of‑house team at a luxury hotel in Singapore. The role involves welcoming guests, managing seating, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and seat them at clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, napkins, silverware and ensure each setting meets standards.
• Guide guests through the dining area, assist with special‑needs seating and monitor table availability.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures and keep menus tidy.
• Observe safety, security and service policies, report incidents and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and protect company assets.
• Support team members, communicate clearly and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Willingness to follow company, safety and security policies.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
