IDC Commissioning Engineer – Singapore

About the role

The IDC Commissioning Engineer will lead the delivery of data‑center construction projects in Singapore, overseeing the full project lifecycle from government initiation to final hand‑over. This role combines technical engineering expertise with strong project‑management capabilities to ensure timely, safe, and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and break down construction delivery goals, schedules, quality and safety objectives for both self‑built and leased data‑center projects.
• Manage quality, safety, cost and risk throughout the delivery process, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Control the pace of construction, coordinating with design, cost, procurement and regulatory authorities to maintain compliance.
• Lead regional delivery teams, ensuring alignment with design, cost and procurement plans.
• Develop and maintain construction management systems covering schedule, quality, safety and contractor evaluation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data‑center construction and project management.
• Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle, balancing schedule, cost and quality.
• Experience reviewing and reprioritising projects to align with organisational strategy.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure domains such as construction, low‑voltage and electrical systems.
• Continuous learning mindset for new technologies, theories and methods.
