Lecturer – Cybersecurity (Full‑time)

About the role

This full‑time Lecturer position focuses on delivering high‑quality education in cybersecurity within a School of Engineering. You will teach foundational concepts, guide student projects, and keep the curriculum aligned with industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver learning units on threats, risk management, network security, cloud computing, and basic software systems.
• Supervise and mentor student projects, providing academic guidance.
• Develop and update teaching materials, assessments, and curriculum content.
• Participate in curriculum reviews and support academic operations.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate best practices into coursework.

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Strong grounding in cybersecurity fundamentals and a broad understanding of cloud architecture and software development.
• Interest in teaching, mentoring, and supporting learners.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, CEH).
