Lecturer – Human Capital Management & Career Development

About the role

The School of Business Management seeks a dynamic Lecturer to design and deliver diploma‑level courses in Human Capital Management and Career Development. You will shape future‑ready HR professionals through innovative, technology‑enabled teaching methods.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver learning units on Human Capital Management for pre‑employment training and continuing education.
• Facilitate lectures, tutorials, seminars and e‑learning sessions using industry‑relevant, experiential pedagogies.
• Mentor learners on career planning, employability skills, internship readiness and professional growth.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers, industry practitioners and professional bodies to support internships and industry projects.
• Contribute to programme administration, academic quality assurance and school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in HR, career planning, workforce development or related fields.
• Strong passion for teaching, mentoring and learner development.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with HR technology, AI, people analytics or digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of career coaching, career counselling or employability development (e.g., SWDA Certified Career Advisor).
