Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – AI & Business Innovation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated academic to teach and develop future business professionals in the application of artificial intelligence. The role will combine lecturing, mentorship and curriculum design to embed AI‑driven innovation into our programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and supervise industry‑based projects on AI for business innovation, AI‑enabled decision‑making, intelligent automation and advanced analytics.
• Guide students in identifying opportunities, redesigning workflows, prototyping AI solutions and building evidence‑based business cases.
• Mentor and coach students, organise industry visits, overseas learning journeys and experiential activities.
• Lead or contribute to curriculum development, assessment design, e‑learning, flipped and blended classroom delivery.
• Integrate applied AI practices—including generative AI, machine learning, agentic AI and rapid prototyping—into course content.
• Facilitate student experimentation with AI platforms and tools to create and validate innovative products, services and processes.
• Participate in professional development, industry collaborations, consultancy projects and applied research.

Required profile

• Experience applying AI in a business context and a strong understanding of AI‑driven innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor and assess students at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Proven track record of translating industry practices into academic curricula.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to foster critical evaluation of AI outputs.
