About the role
This temporary position offers a locum Psychiatric Staff Nurse role for a period of three to six months, requiring a minimum commitment of three days per week. The role is based in a hospital setting in Singapore and provides flexible shift options.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct care and emotional support to psychiatric patients.
- Conduct patient observations and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in therapy sessions and help de‑escalate behavioural incidents.
- Administer prescribed medication and maintain accurate medication records.
Required profile
- Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Availability to work two or three shifts per day.
- Commitment to work at least three days per week for the contract duration.
Required skills
- Patient observation and monitoring.
- Medication administration.
- Ability to support therapeutic activities.
