Manufacturing Engineer – Laser Drilling & NPI

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex laser drilling applications and support new product introductions. The role combines technical expertise with hands‑on problem solving to ensure high‑quality production and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI transfers and develop manufacturing readiness for new products.
• Collaborate with design and R&D to ensure smooth production hand‑over.
• Design, validate, and document robust laser drilling processes and work instructions.
• Implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve efficiency and repeatability.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and cost.
• Provide technical guidance to production technicians and resolve issues quickly.
• Support OEM part qualification, lifecycle management, and EOL transitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably with laser machining or precision processes.
• Hands‑on experience supporting production teams and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
