Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Arcadis Global Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Singapore office. You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to design and specify mechanical and process piping systems for advanced technology and semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for process exhaust, PCW, UPW, specialty gas/chemical, and drain systems.
• Perform pipe sizing and flow‑rate calculations for liquids and gases.
• Develop constructible packages using client and vendor information and templates.
• Survey existing conditions, identify utility connection points, and produce space‑management and routing layouts.
• Create detailed engineering drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Support construction administration, field work, and coordination with subcontractors and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical and process piping design.
• Background in high‑tech or semiconductor manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to work onsite, travel to client sites, and comply with PPE requirements.
