Mechanical Technician – Production & Service

About the role

Festo is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join its Singapore production site. The role combines hands‑on assembly, testing and servicing of pneumatic and electronic products with project transfer responsibilities, supporting both local manufacturing and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electronic assembly and testing of pneumatic and electronic products.
• Interpret drawings, work instructions and test plans to execute assembly, testing and troubleshooting independently.
• Carry out repair and servicing tasks according to service requirements.
• Document and report all testing and service activities.
• Manage end‑to‑end transfer of projects from headquarters to local production, including resource and capacity planning.
• Communicate regularly with the Team Cluster, QCD support team and engineering for day‑to‑day activities and customer requirements.
• Execute ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Customer‑service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience with 5S, lean management and teamwork.
