Media & News Recruiter (6‑month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Media Recruiter to lead full‑cycle hiring for legacy media, news corporations, and streaming platforms. This 6‑month contract role will support both creative and corporate talent acquisition across editorial, broadcast, digital, production, and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for media and entertainment positions.
• Partner with hiring managers across news, broadcasting, streaming, and digital teams.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for creative and corporate roles.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines within the media sector.
• Coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and oversee onboarding.
• Utilise LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and referrals to attract top talent.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor hiring in media and streaming.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience.
• Proven track record hiring for legacy media, news corporations, or streaming companies.
• Strong understanding of media, broadcasting, digital content, and entertainment roles.
• Experience handling high‑volume and specialised hiring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
