Camera Crew Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Camera Crew Assistant to support our production team on set. You will work closely with the cameraman, sound recordist and lighting crew to ensure smooth and efficient filming operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up cameras, tripods, lights and grip equipment for each shoot.
• Assist the cameraman, sound recordist and gaffer with equipment loading, unloading and positioning.
• Adjust lighting, cables and remove obstacles during takes to maintain a safe and functional set.
• Pack, unpack and store all gear in designated locations after each production.
• Perform basic cleaning, housekeeping and routine maintenance of camera and lighting equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience working with camera equipment.
• At least a NITEC qualification in Digital Audio, Video Production, Electronics or Film Production.
• Working knowledge of location lighting, audio setups, camera systems, lenses and camera support gear.

Required skills

• Camera operation and handling.
• Lighting setup and adjustment.
• Audio equipment usage.
• Familiarity with camera support and grip tools.
