Network System AI Engineer - Group Infrastructure & Cloud

About the role

DBS Group Technology manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and delivers banking services through multiple channels. This Network System AI Engineer role sits within Group Infrastructure & Cloud and focuses on designing and deploying AI-enabled applications and automation for network operations and infrastructure management. The position is based at the DBS Asia Hub and is a full-time regular schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI-enabled applications and automation solutions for network operations and infrastructure management.
• Build web applications, dashboards and self-service portals using Python and React.js.
• Develop and integrate AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, MCP, AI agents and vector databases.
• Create automation workflows for network provisioning, monitoring, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.
• Develop, test, troubleshoot and maintain applications, scripts and APIs on Windows and Linux, and integrate them with internal and external systems via REST APIs.
• Work with network engineering teams to turn business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring security, compliance, risk management and operational standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, code quality and development best practices, and provide support and enhancements to existing applications.
• Take part in on-call support and incident resolution as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong hands-on development experience in Python and React.js.
• Proven experience building web applications, APIs, automation tools and backend services.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG, MCP, AI agents and LLM-powered applications.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and network platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and deployment automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
