Process Engineer – Metrology & Automation

About the role

GE Vernova Services Singapore is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and sustain metrology and automation solutions for advanced repair operations. You will work in a safety‑first environment, collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations teams to improve process capability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify, industrialize, and sustain inspection technologies such as CMM, blue‑light scanning, and vision systems.
• Develop, validate, and document process methods, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support technician capability development, including inspection methods and GD&T application.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, repair, or industrial operations.
• Hands‑on experience with metrology or inspection technologies (CMM, blue‑light scanning, vision systems).
• Knowledge of mechanical design, PLC, software or electrical engineering for automation.
• Experience in process development, qualification, validation, or industrialization.
