Engineering Specialist Process Equipment

About the role

Join a high‑performing engineering team responsible for critical manufacturing process equipment that enables medicines to reach patients faster. You will own the technical lifecycle of key assets, drive site readiness, and translate complex challenges into reliable, compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for defined process equipment and systems, providing expertise to optimise performance, efficiency and reliability.
• Plan and execute projects from concept through implementation, managing small teams to deliver on time and on budget.
• Prepare manufacturing areas for start‑up, ensuring operational readiness, robust procedures and smooth hand‑over to standard operations.
• Manage equipment health with suppliers, using advanced data analytics to drive continuous improvement, upgrades and innovation.
• Identify and recommend technical options aligned with global standards to increase quality, speed and cost‑effectiveness.
• Lead hands‑on problem resolution, capture root causes and codify enduring solutions into standard work.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging methodologies and translate learning into updated standards and ways of working.

Required profile

• Proven experience in process equipment engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical ownership and manage asset lifecycles.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience applying data‑driven improvements.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Effective collaboration with manufacturing, quality and project teams.
