Process Engineer – PEE Dry Etch

About the role

Micron is seeking a Fab Process & Equipment Engineer to lead the development, start‑up, and optimization of the PEE Dry Etch process. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to improve yield, quality, and productivity for advanced memory and storage products.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and refine process conditions, parameters, and technology for semiconductor equipment.
• Drive process capability upgrades, cost reduction, and cycle‑time improvements.
• Conduct equipment and material evaluations, new process qualifications, and internal/customer audits.
• Apply failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, and SPC methods to diagnose and resolve complex process issues.
• Perform data analysis and root‑cause investigations, integrating AI‑assisted tools to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across all organization levels.
