Product Designer – Global Payments

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack Product Designer to shape the next generation of financial experiences across our global payment platform. You will work on a fintech suite that serves millions of users on TikTok, TikTok Shop and other ByteDance products, delivering intuitive, trusted and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end product design from opportunity discovery through visual design and delivery.
• Translate ambiguous business and user problems into clear experiences backed by research, data and experimentation.
• Partner with product, engineering, research, data science and regional market teams to influence strategy and key decisions.
• Apply systems thinking to create scalable design solutions that balance global consistency with market‑specific needs.
• Leverage AI throughout the design process to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation and production.
• Use quantitative and qualitative insights to continuously improve user experience, product performance and business outcomes.
• Contribute to and evolve the global payment design system, ensuring high quality and consistency across products.

Required profile

• Experience designing global products across multiple markets while addressing market‑specific user needs.
• Proven track record leading design initiatives, mentoring designers and driving design quality.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, growth metrics and data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Self‑driven, resourceful and strong critical thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.
