Project Architect – Industrial & Dormitory Projects

About the role

Our client, an established architectural consultancy, is looking for a Project Architect or Design Architect with strong design capabilities and hands‑on project experience. The role focuses on industrial developments, especially dormitory projects, and offers the chance to lead projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage architectural projects independently across design development, authority submissions and construction stages.
• Coordinate multiple projects, monitor progress against timelines and administer construction contracts.
• Review site works to ensure alignment with design intent, specifications and building requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to resolve technical and coordination matters.
• Develop original architectural concepts, produce design drawings, presentation materials and graphic documentation.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications and reports.
• Support client presentations, participate in project meetings and coordinate design development with the project team.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural competition submissions when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 4–5 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Strong architectural design, conceptualisation and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently with solid technical knowledge and site experience.
• Experience in contract administration and authority submissions, preferably for industrial and dormitory projects.
• Excellent communication, coordination and analytical skills.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on meeting deadlines.
