Project Manager – APAC (New Product Development)

About the role

The Project Manager – APAC will lead new product development projects, applying project management tools and the Stage Gate methodology. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, monitor project health, and present status updates to regional and global leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project timelines, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Facilitate operational product development and track progress through the Stage Gate process.
• Drive deviation management, follow up on countermeasures, and moderate project review meetings.
• Act as the regional contact for product‑related master data and coordinate data within the Product Information System (PIM).
• Support rollout of global product lifecycle processes (Idea to Market Level 1) and align APAC tasks with global functions.
• Take ownership of strategic new product projects and support product lifecycle activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• Project Management certification or relevant training.
• 6‑8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of project management experience.
• Experience in the electrical industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Power BI.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with a project portfolio management (PPM) tool.
