Quality Engineer

About the role

UCT is seeking a proactive Quality Engineer to join its fast‑growing semiconductor division. You will work closely with production, engineering, sales and customer service teams to resolve quality issues, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across the Singapore facility.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address customer quality concerns and lead investigations of complaints and incidents.
• Develop, implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), validate their effectiveness and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare Quality Alert Notices and support customer‑related CAPA activities, including part damage investigations.
• Coordinate and track audit findings, corrective actions and improvement plans for internal and customer audits.
• Maintain and improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, assist with external certification audits, and conduct internal system and process audits.
• Support process development, qualification and transfer activities, manage site process monitoring programs, and analyse quality data to drive Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Oversee the Calibration Management System, schedule external calibrations, and support equipment repair and maintenance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
• Experience with CAPA processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with calibration management and measurement equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting for quality and process performance.
