Quality Technician – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Singapore. The role involves ensuring that components meet stringent quality standards through inspections, first‑article verification and continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform first‑piece, in‑process and final inspections according to Job Instruction Sheets.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and Delta FAIs in compliance with AS9102.
• Execute dimensional checks using hand gauges and coordinate‑measuring machines.
• Generate Quality Notifications for non‑conformances and document findings on quality paperwork.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and ensure proper gauge usage.
• Support 5S housekeeping on workstations and uphold EH&S and Quality policies.

Required profile

• NITEC or higher qualification in Precision/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum two years of experience in a quality control environment.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T technical drawings.
• Proficient written and spoken English.

Required skills

• CMM programming and operation (Carl Zeiss / Wenzel).
• Use of hand gauges – micrometer, dial indicator, height gauge.
• Dimensional inspection and measurement techniques.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) procedures per AS9102.
• Interpretation of GD&T specifications.
