Quantity Surveyor – Construction Contracts Specialist

About the role

Join Marina Bay Sands as a Quantity Surveyor and play a pivotal role in supporting the design and construction contract lifecycle. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and project teams to ensure accurate contract administration and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain electronic and hard‑copy filing systems for contracts and related documents.
• Enter and update data in internal contract management systems, supervising junior team members.
• Track, expedite, collect, and collate periodic reports, contractor submissions, and project registers.
• Assist the Commercial Manager during the bidding process, including issuing RFPs, analysing proposals, and preparing bid analysis worksheets.
• Prepare meeting notes for pre‑award, progress, and other project meetings.
• Support the review of payment certificates and supply‑chain partner documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Law, Engineering, Project Management, Cost Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a similar role.
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction procurement processes.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Ariba and Sage platforms (advantageous).
• Strong computer and software skills for data management and electronic presentations.
