Regional Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Internal Auditor to lead financial, operational and plant audits across Asia and the United States for a fast‑growing US manufacturer with a global presence.

Key responsibilities

• Define risk‑based audit frameworks, scopes, plans and strategies for the region.
• Develop a deep understanding of business processes, risk profiles and control systems across the group.
• Execute the full audit cycle, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Report audit findings with recommendations and ensure follow‑up for remediation.
• Implement tracking systems to monitor and close identified deficiencies.
• Conduct forensic audits and fraud investigations, driving corrective actions.
• Own and manage the group‑wide Whistle Blowing program with independent reporting to the Audit Committee.
• Coordinate internal controls function, ensuring policies and procedures are up‑to‑date.
• Participate in internal consulting engagements to support group initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 or multinational environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Detail‑oriented, resourceful and proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
