Relationship Manager, Client Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a driven Relationship Manager to lead client coverage for corporate accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact, delivering tailored financial solutions and growing our portfolio across the Maybank Group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of key corporate client accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, originate, and execute new business opportunities and deals.
• Structure and deliver comprehensive financial solutions, including structured financing and cross‑selling across product lines.
• Serve as the central liaison between clients and internal product partners such as Transaction Banking, Global Markets, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Islamic Banking, and others.
• Collaborate across the Maybank Group to provide integrated, client‑centric solutions locally and regionally.
• Conduct financial analysis, industry research, and client due diligence.
• Ensure solutions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare documentation including pitch books, proposals, mandate letters, and credit papers.
• Stay informed on economic trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or relationship management.
• Strong financial analysis and structuring capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment under tight timelines.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and results‑oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client‑centric mindset.
