About the role
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at NTU is recruiting a Research Fellow (Chemist/Material Engineer). The post involves developing electrochemical processes and writing and presenting technical reports.
Key responsibilities
- Develop electrochemical processes such as electroless plating, electroplating and electrochemical etching
- Prepare technical write-ups and presentations
Required profile
- PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering or a related field
- Experience in surface finishing
- Knowledge and experience in electrochemistry
- Team player who is technically motivated to solve problems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Candidates will be exposed to lead (inorganic and organic, as Pb) and mercury (elemental and compound) during the course of work. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
