Research Fellow (IC Design and Academic)

About the role

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is hiring a Research Fellow in IC design. The fellow designs and realizes high-speed, high-efficiency analog and RF ICs and is also expected to support teaching activities as required by the school.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, low-power digital, mixed-signal, RF and analog integrated circuits, covering circuit design, simulation, modeling, layout and verification.
• Explore and apply AI and machine learning techniques for IC design and optimization.
• Develop scripts and algorithms for analog IC design.
• Assist the school in teaching activities, including instructing or supervising labs and tutorials.

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or another related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IC design or electronics.
• Familiarity with analog/RF/digital/mixed-signal IC design.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Cadence.
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB.
• Experience implementing machine learning algorithms.
