Senior Architect – Fast‑Track Projects

About the role

The Senior Architect will lead the design of fast‑track, high‑tech projects from concept through construction and handover. The role ensures compliance with local authority codes, integrates sustainability targets, and produces tender documentation such as specifications and schedules of rates.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Work Package Owner, driving package progress to completion with supervision and QA/QC support.
• Develop and progress designs according to the Design Checklist.
• Chair sub‑contractor progress meetings and Architectural Department client weekly meetings.
• Liaise with Quality Assurance and Quality Compliance engineers to align supervision goals with specifications.
• Assume Lead Architect duties when required.
• Mentor junior architects to build a skilled internal team.
• Provide the Architectural System Supervisor with approved plans, shop drawings, and briefings on scope and contractual revisions.
• Promote safe working practices and protect the health and wellbeing of employees, sub‑contractors, and customers.
• Contribute to operational excellence initiatives such as knowledge centres, digital tools, lessons‑learned systems, and sustainability programs.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture (preferably BOA‑accredited) or Bachelor of Science Architecture (Hons).
• 7–8 years of professional architectural experience, including at least 2 years on fast‑track projects.
• International experience in high‑tech sectors such as semiconductor, sustainable energy, pharmaceutical, healthcare or biotech.
• Proven experience in a leading architectural role on multi‑discipline fast‑track projects.
