Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will lead the design and delivery of building projects, working closely with clients, consultants and authorities from concept through construction. This role requires a strong architectural vision combined with practical knowledge of regulations and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients and professionals early to define project briefs and develop them throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare design proposals using CAD and traditional drawing techniques.
• Contribute to planning and regulatory applications, liaising with authorities to secure approvals.
• Coordinate detailed design, manage design information, and oversee tender documentation and construction drawings.
• Advise clients on appropriate contract strategies and assist in contract administration and project certification.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, ensure timelines are met, and resolve construction‑stage issues.
• Perform defect inspections and manage junior staff or direct reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in fast‑paced teams.
• Familiarity with local building regulations (Singapore or Malaysia).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence.
• Proactive, conscientious work attitude.

Required skills

• Computer‑aided design (CAD) proficiency.
