Senior Architectural Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Associate to lead and coordinate design projects from concept through construction. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure projects meet brief, regulatory, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients and professionals early to define and develop project briefs.
• Prepare planning and regulatory applications, design proposals, and tender documentation.
• Produce and update construction drawings, specifications, and detailed designs.
• Liaise with planning officers and other authorities to secure statutory approvals.
• Conduct site visits, record minutes, and coordinate site issues.
• Lead coordination with consultants and advise clients on contract procurement.
• Administer contracts, certify projects, and manage defect inspections.
• Monitor progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met, and resolve construction‑stage problems.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with local building regulations (Singapore or Malaysia).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant project work.
• Proactive, conscientious work attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer‑aided design (CAD) software.
