Senior Assistant Manager, Finance Operations

About the role

SingHealth is hiring a Senior Assistant Manager for Finance Operations, reporting to the Manager, Finance. The role covers day-to-day Finance Operations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Sundry Billings, with exposure to month-end closing, reporting and payment processing. It suits candidates who want to build strong finance foundations while contributing to quality community healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly account closing, prepare journal entries and ensure transactions and invoices are accurately coded and posted in the General Ledger.
• Manage Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable transactions, including accruals, cost allocations and payments, with the shared services team.
• Manage Sundry Billings to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Maintain master data such as GL accounts, cost centres and internal orders.
• Prepare and submit monthly supporting schedules, company disclosures and reports for management, auditors and external parties.
• Resolve payment matters with internal departments, vendors and the shared services team.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a recognised professional qualification such as CA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Preferably 4 years of relevant experience.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Collaborative team player with good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
